SABC News video: The building of the Quest 50 sailing catamaran

The Quest 50 is being home-built by an advocate in Buhrmansdrif in  the North West province of South Africa, 1350 km from Cape Town. Hundreds of km from the sea, it is an unlikely location for boat-building, but this project is nothing short of impressive.
The owner builder, Blackie Swart, and his wide Karin, are nurturing their love for sailing by constructing an impressive catamaran. Once complete, Blackie and Karin will launch the catamaran in Richards Bay and sail to the Caribbean, where they will retire.
